Regulations
Below is a table that tracks all of the new cannabis regulations released by the state. On the left is the name/topic of the regulation. The middle comment links to the state regulations. The third column includes our summary and/or analysis of the regulations, that state response to regulations (if the state posts are response), and our formal comments. The fourth column lists the Final Rule (the finalized and adopted rules for the new industry).
As the state releases regulations, the public is given 60 days to read, review, and comment onthe new rules. If the state receives enough comments to cause them to make substantive changes to their rules, they will release a new set of rules with the revised changes based on public comment. In the case the state releases a revised rule, the public is given an additional 45 days from the date of publishing the revised rules to read, review, and comment on the revised rules. If they do not receive substantive comments, the proposed rule moves to final rule after the 60-day comment period. If they publish revised rules, the regulations move to final rule after the 45-day period.
There is no time limit for the state to review and respond to public comments or to publish final rule after the comment period closes.
